Passion VS Patience!!

1st April,we went to KLPac to watch the play "Passion'.It is created and directed by Joe Hasham.Bold!Seductive!A mesmerizing experience! This is first time I watch the musical play. I was sitting in front because the other seat was full.Near to the stage and near to the actors and actress doesn't satisfy me enough. This is due to the reason that I noticed at the beginning of the play that it is silence play. So,the understanding of the play is depend on the actor's body gesture, movement and facial expression.Stayed there nearly of one hour and 30minutes make me feel bored.Overall, this play is not interesting because it couldn't catch my eyes and my heart. However, I got the new experience through it!

As You Like It

This movie is a romantic movie. In the movie, the setting is in Japan while in Shakespeare’s play, the setting is in England. The movie portrays Japanese culture and attires such as kimono and sumo. It is very impressed to see Japanese culture is being integrated to Shakespeare’s play.

This movie is a romantic comedy. In the opening of the movie, Rosalind falls in love with Orlando but their love fails to grow since Orlando fled to the Forest of Arden. Rosalind follows him with Celia after that as she is being banished from the court. The part which entails comedy arises after both Orlando and Rosalind who is now Ganymede meet. Ganymede helps Orlando to express his love to Rosalind by assuming that Ganymede is Rosalind. The audience knows the fact that Rosalind and Ganymede is the same person but Orlando does not know this. I feel this is the part where comedy emerges in this movie.

After all, I enjoyed this story. This is because it is happy ending. In the end, Rosalind marries Orlando and Aliena marries her lover, Oliver.
